2024/2025 SEASON

MTYP’s new season features six inventive productions for young audiences. Our first play of the year is based on Maurice Sendak’s rambunctious Where The Wild Things Are, followed by Arnold Lobel’s timeless tale of friendship, A Year with Frog and Toad. We then welcome Montreal’s DynamO Théâtre back to Winnipeg with another daringly physical work, Life-Cycle. Erin Macklem’s play Blue Beads & Blueberries transforms an ancient fairy tale into a celebration of Métis culture. London’s Tall Stories also returns, with their adaptation of another story from their ever-popular Gruffalo series, and the season closes with the world premiere of Wren Brian’s Billie and the Moon, which grew, like a full moon, out of MTYP’s Creator’s Unit. Won’t you and your students join us on an adventure?
