On the day of Faldum’s annual fair, a wanderer rides into town and offers to grant a wish to anyone. Getting what you want can be dangerous though, as two of the townsfolk discover. Using rhyme, jazz music, and a smattering of metaphysical philosophy, I Wish I Was a Mountain is a Spoken Word performance that boldly reimagines Herman Hesse’s famous fairytale.
