Lisa Hancharek

Lisa is thrilled to be designing her first show at Manitoba Theatre For Young People! She has worked as a professional designer in the areas of set, costume, lighting/video and properties design for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg acting and design program (1999) and completed her MFA degree in theatre design from the University of Alberta (2005). Katherine Johnston

Katherine is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg’s Department of Theatre and Film where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Production and Stage Management. Past credits for MTYP include Routes, New Canadian Kid, Dib and Dob and the Journey Home and The Power of Harriet T. Other Theatre Credits include: lighting design for Edward II and Constellations (Theatre by the River), Enchanted April and St. Carman of the Main (U of W).

Kristian Jordan

Kristian was in his first professional show at MTYP with Jabber, so he’s excited to be back. Recently he played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (SIR) and Raleigh in Last Train to Nibroc (RMTC) – Gwen was in that one too. He’s one third of Make/Shift Theatre. He thinks his favourite Narnia book is probably The Horse and His Boy.

Christina is thrilled to be performing for the first time with MTYP in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Dora Carroll

Dora is thrilled to continue her Directing journey alongside Andraea and this team of enjoyable players. Previous Assistant Directing credits include Gracie (PTE), Romeo & Juliet (SIR) and Young Frankenstein (the all dentist musical), and Apprentice Directing on The Producers (Rainbow Stage). Dora is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg Honours Acting Program and Associate Artistic Director of Bravura Theatre, with whom she produces and directs a new Winnipeg series – Shakespeare in the Pub. Daniel is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Winnipeg. A veteran of the international touring circuit and local music scene, this is his first time scoring a play. He found it an incredibly enjoying challenge and might have gone a little overboard. He has found the latest Star Wars films quite disappointing but sometimes plays folk music in a trio called Red Moon Road.

Gwendolyn is an actor and devised theatre artist living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
